Weirdfish were established in 2007. We are a rock covers band from Leicester, UK. We play pubs, clubs, weddings and private parties in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire and pay tribute to some of the greatest bands from all generations in rock history. We are a 3 piece band with a big sound and perform songs from artists across the complete rock spectrum from Country rock (think Tom Petty) to soft rock (Oasis, Stereophonics), popular rock (Foo Fighters, Acrtic Monkeys), alternative rock (Levellers, Linkin Park), pop punk (Green day, Blink 182), old school punk (Ramones, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, Clash), heavy metal (Black Sabbath, AC/DC) to industrial metal (Rammstein) - and many, many more! - Now also pop (Pulp, Blur, Robert Palmer, Duran Duran, Kim Wilde). We originally started out as a five piece band and the line up soon changed down to a 3 piece when Phil, the drummer took over lead vocal duties after the singer and 2nd guitarist left. The line up has remained as a 3 piece with only one change to the band in over 12 years when our guitarist emigrated in 2014 and have been the same 3 fish line up since.

Weirdfish pride themselves on the creating a very professional sound from good quality instruments, equipment and excellent harmonies which makes the sound bigger than you'd expect from a 3 piece band. We have been acknowledged by the very well known clothing brand of the same name too!
